married 6 Dec 1866. [A descendant advised that Martha's middle name was 
Pennina and that she was a daughter of Peter Willis Rucker.] Rock Branch 
cemetery records show L. B. Partain was born 13 Jan 1843, died 22 Mar 1921, 
and Martha Rucker Partain was born 22 Oct 1846 and died 1 Aug 1917. [A 
descendant advised that Carter Partain was Henry Carter Partain.]
