1827. Hillcrest cemetery records show William J. Rice, born 16 May 1831, died 
16 Apr 1920, Confederate Soldier, and Martha E. Rice, born 8 Jan 1834, died 
29 Oct 1913, wife of W.J.  The History of Elbert Co. by McIntosh shows that 
the deceased was William Jasper Rice who married on 12 Jan 1860 to Martha 
Elizabeth Landers, born 8 Jan 1834, died 29 Oct 1913, and that Aaron Rice 
was the son of Leonard Rice and Sarah Kellis (Duncan). Holly Springs Cem.
records show Rev. Sol. Leonard Rice, died 6 Feb 1842, and Sarah, died 15 Aug 
1847, also Aaron Rice, born 2 Apr 1805, died 11 Jun 1886, and Lettie Ballenger
Rice, born 22 Apr 1807, died 8 Jun 1855.
