Elbert Co.marriage records show that W. J. Snellings and Jane Elizabeth Hearn 
were married but date missing. Records show that Richard W. Snellings and 
Elizabeth F. Nunnelee were married 8 Aug 1839. Records for Elmhurst cemetery 
show William J. Snellings, born 4 Sep 1846 [death cert. shows a birthyear of 
1847], died 27 Feb 1927, Confederate Soldier. There is a marker next to grave
of William J. Snellings stating "Jane Elizabeth Hearn, wife of W. J. Snellings, 
and 3 children, Janie, Elizabeth and Thomas, buried Clark cemetery in 
Fortsonia. Buried next to W.J.Snellings are two daughters, Irene (1894-1985) 
and Rebecca (1870-1962).
