His full name, wife's maiden name and names of his parents were not on the 
Death Certificate and were obtained from other sources. The book "From Rome to 
Ruckersville-Our Wansley History" by Frank Nicholas Wansley indicates that 
Thomas Nathaniel Wansley and Mary Elizabeth Adams were married on 13 Feb 1856
[Marriage record shows 12 Feb] in Elbert Co., he the son of Fleming Wansley 
and Becky Patterson (married 13 Dec 1832 Elbert Co.) and she the daughter of 
Nicholas Meriweather Adams (son of Rev. Sol. Thomas Adams and Sarah Ford) 
and Drucilla Hunt. Cemetery records for the Ruckersville Meth. Church show 
Thomas N. Wansley, born 15 Oct 1833, died 4 Feb 1924, Confederate Soldier, 
and Mary E. Adams Wansley, born 12 Apr 1835, died 15 Jul 1916. The Elbert Co. 
marriage records for Thomas Nathaniel and Fleming both spell the name Wanslow.
