Atlanta Constitution, 11 Jun 1911 
Elberton, Ga., June 10 - The marriage of Miss Wenona Blackwell and Mr. F. T. 
Hewlette was solemnized at the bride's home here yesterday, the happy couple 
leaving at once for their future home in Waco, Texas. Rev. J. H. Washburn 
performed the ceremony. Mr. W. T. Shannon was maid of honor and the groom's 
brother, Mr. Thad Hewlette, best man. The bride entered the room on the arm of 
her brother, Mr. J. H. Blackwell. Mrs. Harry Cleveland played the wedding 
march. The decorations for the occasion were unusually brilliant. The bride 
was becomingly gowned. She has been one of Elberton's favorites, and is a 
granddaughter of the late John H. Jones.

Burial records for Elmhurst cemetery, Elberton, show Weenona Blackwell Hewlett 
(1884-1973). Elbert Co. marriage records show F. T. Hewlett and Weenona 
Blackwell were married on 7 Jun 1911.
