Atlanta Constitution, 26 Nov 1922 
Mr. and Mrs. P. V. Rice, Sr. of Bowman, Ga. announce the engagement of their 
niece, Clovis Christian, to Alonzo L. Clarke of Athens, the marriage to take 
place December 27, at home. 

Additional Comments:
Elbert Co. marriage records show Lonnie L. Clarke and Clovis C. Christian were 
married on 27 Dec 1922. Burial records for Holly Springs Baptist Church, 
Elbert Co., show Lonnie C. Clarke (1892-1988) and Clovis C. Clarke (1893-
1970), daughter of C. W. Christian.
