Just before the ceremony Mr. G. H. Fortson, brother of the bride, sand "O, Love of Mine," and during the ceremony "Tales from Hoffman" was softly rendered. The little ribbon-bearers, Frances Fortson and Kathryn Fortson, were stationed on either side of the altar, forming an aisle for the bridle couple. The ribbons were tied to immense bouquet of sweet peas. They wore lovely frocks of pink and green organdie. The bride was becomingly gowned in a beautiful suit of blue, with accessories to match.
