Atlanta Constitution, 22 Oct 1911 
Mr. and Mrs. George Thomas Fortson of Elberton, Ga. announce the engagement of 
their daughter, Pauline, to Mr. William Duncan Gray of Ellendale, S.C., the 
wedding to take place at their home in December. 

Additional Comments:
Sarah Pauline Fortson, born 10 Aug 1878, married William Duncan Gray on 20 Dec 
1911 in Elbert Co. She was the daughter of George Thomas Fortson (1830-1918) 
and wife Mrs. Tallulah Whitman (Hill) Shiland (1849-1946). George Thomas 
Fortson was the son of Haley Fortson (1821-1898) and 1st wife Elizabeth 
Jenifer Hanson (1819-1853).
