Additional Comments:
Martha Fortson was the oldest child of Jesse Fortson (1783-1828) and wife Mary 
B. White (1783-1827). Martha and husband William Fletcher Brewer (1801-1874) 
moved to Black Hawk, Carroll Co., MS. One known child was William White Brewer 
who married Pricilla Caroline Cage and had children William Hopkins, Alline, 
Edward C., Almeta, Thankful, Mariam and Walter C. Brewer. William F. Brewer, 
son William White Brewer and grandson William Hopkins Brewer all buried in 
Black Hawk cemetery, Carroll Co., MS. Many descendants in Mississippi.
