Atlanta Constitution, 21 May 1922
T. Jesse Maxwell of Elberton, Ga. announces the engagement of his daughter 
Minnie Lou to Jefferson Hood Fortson, the wedding to take place the latter 
part of June. 

Additional Comments:
Jefferson Hood Fortson, born 20 Feb 1896, was the son of Jesse White Fortson, 
Jr. (1862-1947)and Mary "Mollie" Arena Gaines (1866-1938) He married Minnie 
Lou Maxwell on 29 June 1922 in Elbert co.
