BULLARD IN SOUTH CAROLINA - Of sincere interest to friends in Georgia is the announcement of the marriage of Miss Ruth Stovall of Elberton to John J. Bullard of Atlanta. The marriage was solemnized Sunday, May 22 at 6:45 o'clock, in the study of the Methodist parsonage in Walhalla, SC. Dr. E. W. Mason, pastor of the First Methodist Church, performed the ceremony. Several friends of the bride and groom were present, among them being Mrs. Blanche D. Thompson of Atlanta and E. D. Mattox of Elberton who acted as best man. Mrs. Bullard is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Ben Stovall of Elberton. She is a graduate of the State Normal college, Athens, beng a member of the class of 1925, which was the largest graduating class in the history of the institution. She was a member of the faculty of the Carlton, Ga. High school during 1925-26. Mr. Bullard is connected with Thompson-Cauthorn Motor company, an active member of the Elks and Knights Templar and one of Atlanta's most promising young business men. After June 15 Mr. and Mrs. Bullard will be at home at 880 Piedmont Avenue. Additional Comments: Burial records for Elmhurst cemetery, Elberton, GA, show J. Ben Stovall (1873- 1953), Ella H.
