Will of Anna Booth 04 Jan 1877 Elbert County, GA GEORGIA; ELBERT COUNTY: In the name of God Amen. I Anna Booth of said state and county being infirm but of sound and disposing mind and memory, Knowing that I must soon depart this life, deem it proper that I should make a disposition of the property - which an all wise and kind Providence has blessed me. I do therefore make this my last will and Testament, hereby revoking and annulling all others by me heretofore made. Item 1st. I desire that my body be buried in a decent and Christian manner. Item 2nd. I direct that all my just debts be paid. Item 3rd. I will and bequeath to my son James C. Booth the plantation on which I now live, consisting of 93 acres more of less with all my household of every description (Except) one side board. And at his death it is my will that the property herein given to my son James C. Booth be given to my grandson Silas G Booth, son of James C. Booth. Item 4th. I will to my daughter-in-law Adaline Booth, wife of my son Samuel S. Booth the sideboard I referred to in Item 3rd of this Instrument. Item 5th. I hereby constitute and appoint my son James C. Booth Executor of this my last will and testament, this the 4th day of January 1877. Booth in vacation, Executor of the last will and testament of Anna Booth late of said County, deceased, produced before me the Two of the witnesses to said will, which witnesses being duly sworn deposeth and Saith that they saw said Anna Booth the Testatrix sign, seal, declare and publish the instrument now presented, as her last will and Testament, truly, voluntarily and of her own accord, and without any compulsion or influence whatever. That at the time of the Execution of said will Said Testatrix was of sound and disposing memory; that deponents signed said will as witnesses in the presence of the Testatrix at her special request and instance, and that they saw G.L. Herndon sign Said will in the presence of said Testatrix and witnesses and that all signed in the presence of each other. Sworn and Subscribed before me this August 17th 1880. D.H.Oglesby G.C.
