GA Will Book K, Page 187, reflects the Will of Nathan Bond, Sr., as follows: "In the name of God Amen , I, Nathan Bond, Senr. of County of Elbert and State of Georgia, being in a low state of health but of sound mind and memory, caling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament Viz, My body I recommend to the Earth to be furied in a Christian like manner and touching such worldly estate as it has pleased God to bless me with. I give and dispose of in the following manner, Item 1 - I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Elizabeth Bond all my household and kitchen furniture also all my stock of horses cattle hogs and all my plantation tools to hold in --- and peaceable possession during her life and at her death to be divided among my children at her discresion. I hereby nominate and appoint my son Richard Bond executor to this my last Will and Testament in Witness whereof I do hereunto set my hand seal this Twentysixth day of February one Thousand eight hundred and fifteen. (his mark) Seal Thomas Hansard (his mark) The above Will was proved on 1 May 1915 and recorded on 6 June 1815 [Submitter's notes: Nathan Bond, Sr. was born ca 1729 in Goochland Co., VA, and married by 1754 to Elizabeth Ballenger. He saw Revolutionary War service in Amherst Co., VA as did his 3 sons, Nathan, Jr., Richard Cox Bond and Joseph Ballenger Bond. Their daughter Mary Walker Bond married Rev.
