Bradley of Elbert County and State of Georgia being very weak and low in body but of pefect mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament (to wit) I give to my wife Anna Bradley all my household furnitue and one negro woman by the name of Mattyw [?] and her increase during her life and after her death to be equally divided between all my children Lucy Bradley and Jeptha M. Bradley and to my daughter Lucy Bradley I give one negro girl named Piety and her increase and to my son Jeptha M. Bradley I give one negro boy named Barnett and lastly do appoint Joseph Deadwyler Snr. my Executor to this my last Will and Testament in testimony whereof I hereunto affix my hand and seal this thirteenth day of July 1818. Christian and Joseph Deadwiler Junr. and being sworn saith that they were present and saw Robert C. Bradley sign and seal and acknowledge the within instrument of writing to be his last Will and Testament and that they subscribed their names as witnesses to the same and at the request of the said testator and that he the said testator was of sound mind and memory at the time he executed the same to the best of our knowledge and belief Sworn in Court this 12th day of Jany 1824. Additional Comments: Elbert Co. marriage records show that Jeptha M. Bradley and Mary E. Saddler were married on 1 Jan 1846, and that Lucy C. Bradley and Daniel Thornton were married on 3 Oct 1826.
