After an inventory of the estate of Edward Brown was made on 11 
February 1834 by appraisers Robt. B. Christian, George W. Heard, 
Thos. Jones, Leroy Upshaw and Isaac Almand, a sale of the estate
was conducted on 24, 25 and 26 April 1834, the total amount being
realized from the sale being $5308.79. Purchasers at the sale were
as follows:

[Submitter's notes: The sale was conducted by Executors William
Mills and Reuben Brown. Reuben Brown, only son of Edward, had
married first to Sarah Goss (1786-1809) and second to Theodocia
McMullan (1794-1847). Reuben and Theodocia are buried in Monroe
County, GA]
