NANCY MOSS Elbert County Probate Court Elbert Co., Ga. p. 385-386 Georgia : In the name of God – Amen! Elbert County: I, Nancy Moss of said state and county being advanced in age and knowing that I must before a great while depart this life, desire to make a just and proper disposition of the property with which a kind Providence has blessed me. I do therefore make this my last will and testament. 1st Item I desire and direct that my body be buried in a plain decent and Christian-like manner suitable to my circumstances in life. My soul I trust shall return to rest with God, who gave it. 2nd Item I desire and direct that all my just debts if I should have any, be paid by my executor hereinafter appointed. 3rd Item I give bequeath and devise to my son Hamilton Moss and my daughter Martha Frances to be equally divided between them the land on which I now live, adjoining Ginn, Brown, Hall and Butler containing two hundred two and one-half acres, more or less. Also all my stock, money, notes and accounts. My plantation tools household and kitchen furniture and any other property of which I may be possessed or own at the time of my death to be equally divided between them. 4th Item My will is that if either of my said children Hamilton or Martha should die before me the whole of the property shall go to the survivors or their children if they should have any. 5th Item I have already heretofore given to my other children, Asa, Ava Mewborn, Elizabeth Moore, Mary Jordan, Adaline Brown, Harriett Brown, and to the children of Singleton and Benson Moss, deceased, each fifty dollars which I entend to be for their full share of my estate. 6th Item I hereby constitute and appoint my son Hamilton Moss executor and my daughter Martha F. Moss my executrix of this my last will and testament. This August 25th, 1880.
