I, James N. Brown, of the state and county aforesaid being old & weak in body, but of sound mind & memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament. Hereby revoking all others to wit. Item I: I resign my body to the earth from whence it came and my soul into the hands of God who gave it. Item 2: It is my will and desire that all my just debts be first paid. Item 3: It is my will that immediately after my death that the whole of my estate be equally divided between by sons Benjamin Brown or his legal heirs, Henry P . Brown or his legal heirs, James N. Brown or his legal heirs, John Brown or his legal heirs, James Bridges Trustee for my daughter Lucy Presley and her children, Jepe M. Fortson and admin ofB. Tate trustees for my daughter Milly Presley and her children. The children & their legal representatives Joseph Brawner Sr. & Mary his wife (both deceased) and Henry Brawner (who married my daughter Celia) or their legal representatives. Item 4: I hereby constitute and appoint Benjamin Brown and Sineon N. Brown my executors to carry into effect this my last will and testament. Personally came into open court Shelton Oliver and Jepe M. Fortson and being sworn saith that they saw James N. Brown sign & seal by making his mark the within instrument of writing as his last will and testament and that he was as we believe at the time he signed the same of sound mind and disposing memory and that they signed the same as witnesses to the same at the request of the testator.
