The first Administrator was his brother-in-law William Pulliam and after William died the estate was administered by another brother-in-law Thomas J. Turman. Book 2, Folio 145, recorded 7 Feb 1840: Return by William Pulliam regarding the sale of perishable property and hire out of individuals belonging to the estate shows sales to or money due from the following: Tandy W. Fitts, William J. Moore, Gabriel Booth, Shadrack Ruff, Zachariah Seamore, Gaines Thompson, Harmon Parham, William T. O. Cook, William Bond and Elijah B. Norman. On 5 Mar 1842 Thomas J. Turman as Administrator of the estate of William Pulliam made a return of money paid out by William Pulliam when he was Administrator of John Hall. This showed receipt of Elijah Dobbs. Book 2, Folio 268, recorded 28 May 1842 shows return by Thomas J. Turman, Administrator of estate of William Pulliam, for money received from the sale of the estate of John Hall on 29 Nov 1838 and money paid out by the estate. Purchasers at Sale: Thomas J. Return of William Pulliam of the sale and hire of slaves in the estate of John Hall, sale date the first Tuesday in August, 1839. Sale brought in $6111.00. Book S, Folio 28, recorded 25 May 1851, shows sale of property in estate of John Hall to Mariah and E. B Norman [Submitter's notes: John Pryor Hall (1797-1838), son of William Hall and Sarah Blake, was married to Mariah Louisa Turman (1808-1881), daughter of George Turman and Viletta (Violetta) Higginbotham.
