It having been stated and it appearing to the court that Nathaniel Hudson & Richard Hubbard executors of the Last Will and testament of Sarah Harper dec’d on the fifth day of November 1802 made a sale of estate of said dec’d to the amount of three thousand seven hundred and eighty five dollars 50 cts and it also appearing to the court that the said executors at a court of ordinary at July term 1808 held in and for the County of Elbert made an aggregate return of said sale to the amount of three thousand seven hundred eighty thre dollars & eighty seven & one half cents including cash rec’d at the sale and whereas it is considered by the court at this term that it is nefsary for the security of the said executors and fore the more fully conveying the sale of the said estate in to effect it is ordered that the said executors now have leave to return to this court the book containing the items sold at the sale sale they being liable for the amount of three thousand seven hundred & eighty five dollars & fifty cents only it being the true amount of said sale as appears on said sale book which now ordered to be recordeded Recorded 31st Oct 1815 Job Weston C.C.O.
