I, Moses Haynes, Sen. of the county of Elbert and State of Georgia, do make and publish this my last Will and testament in manner and form following. That is to say after all just and lawful debts are fully paid and done, I give and bequeath unto my well beloved wife, Sarah, all my worldy goods, both real and personal during her natural life and at her deceast, all to be sold and the net proceeds thereof equally divided amongst my children to wit: Stephen, William, Moses, Thomas, Nancy, Elizabeth, Polly, Sarah and Jane - equally divided amongst them, share and share about - except Stephen, the sum thirty-six dollars that he owes me and the sum two dollars as his part. Also, I give and bequeath unto my son William the one eighth part after deducting out what he owes me. Also, I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas the one eighth part. Also, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Nancy the one eighth part. Also, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane the one eighth part. Also, the one eighth part that is cumming to my daughter Elizabeth Keeling. I give and bequeath unto her four youngest children, to wit: L. Mateson Keeling, Polly, Sunannah and Marcy, after deducting what Leonard Keeling, the father, owes me out of the one eighth part, the balance to be equally divided between the four named children. Also, I give and bequeath to my daughter Polly the one eighth part after deducting out ninety-nine dollars and thirty-four cents which she owes me on a book. Also, the one eighth part that is comming to my daughter Sarah Carden after deducting what Charles owes me. The balance I give and bequeath unto Moses Carden and Jane Glenn equal share and share about. Also I give and bequeath unto Leonard Keeling the sum 2 dollars. Also I give and bequeath unto Charles Carden the sum 2 dollars as his part. I also appoint my wife Sarah and my son Thomas as my sole executors. This my last Will and testament revoking and disanullng all Wills by me heretofore made in witness and in testamony hereof I have unto set my hand and seal this 18th day Dec. one thousand eight hundred and twenty-eight in presence of us Moses Haynes, Senior John Bagwell Charles W. Haynes and James Haynes and being duly sworn, say that they were subscribing witnesses to the witnesses papers purporting to be the last will and testament of Moses Haynes, Sen. and that they subscribed the same in the presence of Moses Haynes, the testator and in the presence of each other and at the request of the said testator and that he was of sound disposing mind at the time he executed the same.
