Turman and the heirs and distributees of Samuel Turman, deceased. Take notice that we shall apply to the Inferior Court of Elbert County while sitting for ordinary purposes on the first Monday in November next to appoint fit and proper persons agreeably to the statute in such cases made and provided to distribute among the distributees the estate of Permelia Pulliam, late of said county deceased. Signed: Thomas J. Turman and James M. Sandidge, Administrators "I acknowledge due and legal services of the above notice: Thomas J. Turman, Mariah Hall by Thomas J. Turman, Allen Eiland and William A. Barham (Guardians) by Robert McMillan their Attorney at Law. "Thomas J. Turman and James M. Sandidge, Administrators of the estate of Permelia Pulliam, late of Elbert County deceased respectfully ask the Court to appoint three or more free holders of said county to divide the estate of said Permelia Pulliam deceased into three shares and assign by lot or otherwise as to them shall seem proper a share to each distributee or their Guardian or legal representative, and they here show to the Court that all the parties in interest have due and legal notice of this application. Barham, guardian for James M. Turman, do hereby waive the notice required by law and consent for distributors to be appointed to dive and set off the property of the estate of Permelia Pulliam deceased subject to distribution according to law. Turman and James M.Sandidge, Administrators of the estate of Permelia Pulliam late of said county deceased having made application for the appointment of persons for the purpose of distributing the estate of said deceased among the distributees of said estate and having given notice according to law It is therefore hereby ordered that Elijah B. Norman, William H. Adams, Eppy Bond, Joseph Sewell and Thomas Burton free holders of said county be and they are hereby authorized and directed to make distribution of said estate among the distributees entitled thereto agreeably to the statute in such case made and provided." [Submitter's Notes: Permelia Turman, Mariah Turman Hall, Thomas J. Turman and Samuel Turman were all children of George Turman and Vileta (Violetty) Higginbotham. Permelia Turman was married to William Pulliam and Mariah Turman to John Pryor Hall. Samuel Turman and wife Mary Fortson moved from Elbert Co. to Harris Co., GA where Samuel died. Mary remarried to William A. Barham. Mary's sister Elizabeth I. Fortson was married to Allen Eiland]
