Daniel White (1746-1806), son of Jeremiah White (1695-1776) and Mary Martin
of Spotsylvania and Albemarle Cos., VA, married Mary Ballinger and moved to
Elbert Co. along with some other members of his family. He died in 1806, as
an Inventory of his estate was made on 13 Jan 1807. The following estate 
return for the year 1814 appears in Book K, page 90:

Return for the Estate of Dan'l White, deceased.
Wm Davis Executor of the last Will of Daniel White decd makes the following
return for 1814---
May 18, 1812 - Paid Stephen Morgan as per receipt $129.55 3/4
Paid Martin White as per receipt 212.58 3/4
Paid P. Christian as per receipt 129.55 3/4
Paid P. Christian as per receipt 129.55 3/4
Paid Jesse Fortson as per receipt 129.15 1/4
Paid Jesse Fortson as per receipt 303.63 3/4
Paid Isaac Christian as per receipt 596.15 1/4

Following this are receipts for the above amounts, as follows:
Stephen Morgan; Martin White, guardian for Jno. White, minor; Isaac
Christian; Jesse Fortson as guardian for Asa; J. Fortson; P. Christian; 
P. Christian as guardian for Eppy White. The receipts were to William
Davis and Martin White, Executors of Daniel White. The above returns
were recorded 3 May 1814 by Wm. Woods, C. C. O. 

[Submitters notes: Other estate records show that P. Christian was 
Presley Christian. No marriage record was found for him or for Stephen
Morgan but the receipts indicate they were married to daughters of Daniel
White. Elbert Co. marriage records show Martin White marrying Patsey 
White on 11 Feb 1807 and Isaac Christian marrying Milly White on 12 Feb
1807. It is known that Jesse Fortson (1783-1828) was married to Mary
B. White (1783-1827)]
