Elbert County § I William Terrell of the state and county Aforesaid being not in good health but of Sound mind disposing many thanks lo to god – calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die it is My desire to resign My soul to alm- ighty God who gave it and My body to ‘Ts Mother Earth to be buried in a decent manner and as will- ing such worldly estate as its has pleased God to help me with. I give and dispose of in the following manner to wit Items. 1st I will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid. Item 2nd I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Martha Terrell all of My Estate both real and personal during her natural life of widowhood. Item 3rd My will and desire is that after the death or inters marriage of My wife Martha Terrell and I do hereby give and bequeath unto my two sons Tavnah H & James B Terrell all of my Estate both real and personal that I may be possessed off at my death to go into possession of the same at the death or inters marriage of my wife. Item 4th My will and desire is that my sons & daugh ters to wit: Rebecca, John W, Robert W., Fanny Wm B, Martha, Aaron, & Sarah E. have no more of my Estate having given them Fifty dollars in property which they have received excepting John W. Terrell who is to have one cow if he does not receive the same during my life time which is their full share each of My Estate & I do here by ordain this My last will and Testament and surviving all others. Item 5th My Will and desire is that My beloved wife Martha Terrell & My beloved son Tavnah Terrell be my Executors to this My last will and testam- ent.
