Item first, I give my soul to God that gave it, hoping for the resurrection of life through Christ and my body to be buried in a decent manner at the discretion of my Executors to be hereafter named. As for my worldly goods after all debts and claims against the Estate is paid off and discharged, I give as follows, viz., Items, first, I give and bequeath unto my sister, Sally Woods, one hundred dollars. I give and bequeath unto my nephew, William Woods, son of Hugh Woods, five thousand dollars. I give and bequeath unto Christopher C. Bowen, a horse of one hundred dollars value. My will and desire is that all my Estate, both real or personal also all the remaining stock of goods that may be on hand on the first day of June next at which time a disposition is to take place by articles of agreement between my nephew, William Woods, and myself, be sold by my Executors after discharging the legacies aforesaid, after selling my property as before stated and goods on hand including all my debts and property of every description to be equally divided between my brothers and sisters or their lawful heirs. My sister, Sally Woods, once executed, my nephew, William Woods to have a proportionate part independent of the (aforesaid?) and legacy of five thousand dollars. My will further is that any Executors do make title to Doctor John H. Brewer to the house and lot be resides on he complying with the terms of purchase which William Woods is acquainted with and lastly, I constitute and appoint Josiah Woods and William Woods my whole and sole Executors acknowledged in presence of us March 12th 1807.
