Old Hutcheson Cemetery Inscriptions Emanuel County, GA

OLD HUTCHESON CEMETERY
EMANUEL COUNTY, GEORGIA

1.5 MILES SOUTHEAST OF ADRIAN, GEORGIA AND 5 MILES SOUTHWEST 
OF SUMNER’S BEACH AND GEORGIA HWY 221. THIS CEMETERY IS UP ON 
A HILL FROM ANOTHER SMALL CEMETERY NAMED HUTCHESON/DURDEN. THIS 
CEMETERY WAS ON THE PROPERTY OF JOHN HUTCHESON SR. (1767-1836). 
HE WAS ONE OF THE FIRST OF THE HUTCHESON FAMILY TO BE BURIED HERE. 
THERE ARE ABOUT SEVEN-TEN UNMARKED GRAVES.
