                                   Father And Son Die Together
                            20 April 1891 The Atlanta Constitution

Swainsboro, GA., April 19-The death of Mr. John Lamb, age ninety years, removes 
from us the oldest citizen of Emanuel county. It is strange, and worthy of 
note, that his son, Mr. J. H. T. Lamb, living near his father, died on the same 
night about 12 o’clock. The old gentleman perhaps died more of old age than 
anything else.
