                                         Got Even With His Teacher
                                   27 August 1893 Atlanta Constitution

Millen, GA., August 26-George Gay, a school boy fourteen years old, of Emanuel 
county, was punished a few days ago by his teacher for some school offense. The 
boy armed himself with a pistol, waylaid the unfortunate teacher in a sugarcane 
patch and shot him in the head.
