                         Mrs. Maggie Bell Avery, 92
 ADRIAN---Final rites for Mrs. Maggie Bell Avery, 92, will be observed at 2pm 
Wednesday (today) from Adrian United Methodist Church. The Rev. Johnny Walker 
will officiate. Burial will be in Poplar Springs United Methodist Church 
Cemetery near Adrian.
 Mrs. Avery died Monday.
 A native of Emanuel County, she was the daughter of the late Nathan Foskey 
and the late Mrs. Nancy Harrell Foskey. She was the widow of Ernest W. Avery 
and was a member of Adrian United Methodist Church.
 Survivors include a son, Wayne Avery of Vidalia; four daughters, Mrs. Natha 
Lodesky and Mrs. Audrey Brantley, both of Adrian and Mrs. LaNelle Wyatt of 
College Park and Mrs. Ernestine Wilson of Dublin; 11 grandchildren; and 10 
great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons, John Avery, David Avery, 
Alan Avery, Richard Avery, Scott Hardy, Robert Chafin, Danny Hoffman, and 
Michael Hardy.
 Sammons Funeral Home of Soperton has charge of arrangements.
