Chester Wilkes of Dublin and the Rev. Paul Wiggins of Lyons officiating. Mrs. Barwick died Saturday afternoon in a Swainsboro hospital. The widow of J. H. Barwick, she was the daughter of the late N. T. and Nancy Harrell Foskey and had been born and reared in Emanuel County. Survivors include two sons, J. T. Barwick of Adrian and J. N. Barwick of Norfolk, Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Carlos Carter and Mrs. Hubert Rowland, both of Adrian and Mrs. Estelle Lessing of Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. E. W. Avery of Adrian; four brothers, Lester Foskey of Lakeland, Fla. and Myrtis, Cornelius, and Norman Foskey, all of Adrian; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great- grandchildren. Burial was in Odomville Cemetery on Emanuel County. Pallbearers included Harry Carter, James Carter, Charles Rowland, Gene Foskey, Ellicott Barwick, and Gerald Foskey. Sammons Funeral Home of Soperton was in charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Clemmie was born 9-15-1889.
