Billy Coleman, the pastor, officiating. Burial was in the church cemetary. Mr. Boatright died at his home, at Blun, Monday afternoon, following an illness of two weeks duration. A native of Emanuel County, he was the son of the late Reuben and Demaris Rich Boatright, both members of pioneer families in this county. He was a farmer and a leader in church and community affairs. He was a member of the North Thompson Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Milton Boatright of Blun, and Jesse Boatright of Normantown; one daughter, Mrs. Demaris Daniels of Vidalia; three brothers, Math Boatright of Swainsboro, Steve Boatright of Graymont-Summit, and Dave Boatright of Dublin; and a large family connection in this and adjoining counties.
