                     Jim Bell Bush Dies at Adrian
 Mr. Jim Bell Bush of Route 3, Adrian, passed away at his residence at 12:55pm 
Tuesday after a lingering illness. He was 81 years old and was born in Johnson 
County on February 14, 1875. He was the son of the late Jim Bush and the late 
Polly Ann Foskey Bush, a native of Johnson County.
 Survivors are his wife, the former Della Douglas of Adrian; 3 sons, Lonzie 
Bush, Hazlehurst, Jessie Bush and Charles Ezra Bush of Adrian; 5 daughters, 
Mrs. Annie Wilcher, Swainsboro, Mrs. George Mae Wilkes of Nunez, Mrs. Bill 
Page and Mrs. Thomas Love of Adrian and Mrs. Hugh Strickland of Statesboro; 
one sister, Mrs. Arlie Tapley of Brunswick; 44 grandchildren; and 14 great-
grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held at 11am Wednesday from the Hebron Primitive 
Baptist Church with the Elders Rollie M. Riner and Blass Copeland officiating. 
Interment was in the Lamb Cemetery. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
 T. C. Hunnicutt and Sons of Swainsboro Mortuary were in charge of  funeral 
arrangements.
