(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net October 15, 2009, 7:21 am The Swainsboro Forest Blade 9-9-1967 Page 3 Final Rites Are Conducted For Mr. Bush Final rites for Charlie Ezra Bush, 55, were conducted at 4pm today (Wednesday) from Hebron Primitive Baptist Church. The Elder Douglas Bush and Rev. Inman Gerrald officiated and interment was in Lamb Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Ralph Kersey, Lonzie Moore, Curtis Wilson, James Jones, C. C. Moore, and Archie Hutcheson. The Johnson County native died Saturday in a local hospital from an apparent heart attack. A farmer, he was the son of the late Jim Bell and Della E. Bush of Johnson County. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucile Giles Bush of Swainsboro; three daughters, Mrs. Herman Edwards of Adrian and Miss Patricia Bush and Miss Dovie Bush, both of Swainsboro; five sons, Henry Dalton Bush, Charlie Dale Bush, Glen Bush, and LeRoy Bush, all of Swainsboro and Kenneth Bush of the US Marines, Vietnam; five sisters, Mrs. Annie Mae Wilkes of Nunez, Mrs. Dessie Bell Wilcher of Swainsboro, Mrs. Mary Lee Page and Mrs. Myrtle Love, both of Stillmore, and Mrs. Adell Strickland of Statesboro; and two brothers, Lonzie Bush of Hazlehurst and Jessie E. Bush of Swainsboro. Hunnicutt Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of funeral arrangements. Additional Comments: Charlie was born 10-30-1911. Georgia death certificate #023860.
