The Rev. Henry Thomas officiated assisted by the Rev. M.F. Price and burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Tom A. Oglesby, jimmy Oglesby, Roosevelt Oglesby Jr., mallory Spence, Robert Spence and Cecil joiner. The Emanuel County native died Wednesday, April 2, in an Augusta hospital. He was a member of Union Grove Methodist Church and a retired farmer. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Callie Johnson Coglin of Midville, a daughter, Mrs. Wade H. Franklin of Midville; a son, Clarence Coglin of Midville; two brothers John Hall of Covington and Ike Hall of Midville; and a sister Mrs F.M. Dillard of Covington. Peebles-Curry Mortuary of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Bill Coglin is the son of Willie Forehand Farrow and William Cogland. Willie and William are both buried at Deep Creek Baptist Church.
