                          Mrs. Lucile Cordy, 75
 Rites for Mrs. Lucile Giles Bush Cordry, 75, 310 Mary Ann St., Swainsboro, 
were held at 2pm Sunday from the Hunnicutt Memorial Chapel.
 The Rev. Wilmer Hall, Elder William Claxton, and the Rev. Donnie Bush 
officiated. Interment followed in Lamb Cemetery near Swainsboro.
 Mrs. Cordry died Friday afternoon at Emanuel County Hospital following an 
extended illness.
 She was a native of Emanuel County and was the daughter of the late Lloyd 
Giles and of the late Ethel Peebles Giles. She was a member of Mt. Shady 
Baptist Church near Swainsboro and a homemaker.
 Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Kersey of Kite, Mrs. Dovie 
Hadden of Dublin, and Mrs. Patricia Moseley of Swainsboro; four sons, Dalton 
Bush of Kite, LeRoy Bush and Glynn Bush, both of Swainsboro, and Kenneth Bush 
of Watkinsville; a stepdaughter, Lois Martin of Louisville; three stepsons, 
Ervin Cordry of Wrightsville, Edward Cordry of Kite, and Colon Cordry Jr. of 
Hinesville; five sisters, Ruby McNeil, Rosa Lee Peebles and Gladys Armstrong, 
all of Swainsboro and Cuba Ree Powell and Ethel Braddy, both of Kite; a 
brother, Aaron Lloyd Giles of Adrian; 22 grandchildren; and several great-
grandchildren.
 Pallbearers included Kenneth Henry, Roger Moore, David Moore, Henry 
Wilkerson, Wayne Paige, and Steve Paige.
 Hunicutt Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Lucile was born 6-21-1917. Her first husband was Charlie Ezra Bush and her 
second husband was Colon C. Cordry Sr.
