She was the daughter of the late Moses and Amanda Edenfield Canady and her husband was the late J. B. Coxwell. A native of Emanuel County, she was a member of Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday from Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church, Stillmore. The Elder Lindy Webb will officiate assisted by the Elder A. R. Crompton. Burial will be in the Warren Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be grandsons, Clebourne L. Smith, Jerry N. Smith, Remer L. Collins, L. B. Durden Jr., Frank Davis Jr., and Harry Fields. Honorary pallbearers will be dewey Warren, Ivey Durden, Henry Johnson, Julian Pierson, William Collins, Endice Warren, Alton Johnson, and Foy Dasher. Survivors are one son, Devoy J. Coxwell, Atlanta; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy C. Smith, Stillmore, Mrs. Marjorie Tyler, Louisville, Ky., Mrs. Erchie C. Collins, Stillmore, and Mrs. P. J. Loome, Chicago, Ill.; one brother, D. S. Canady, Stillmore; two sisters, Mrs. Victoria Turner and Miss Minnie Canady, both of Stillmore; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Hooks Mortuary of Metter was in charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Marietta was born 27 Apr 1879. Her husband, Jeremiah Benjamin Coxwell is also buried in the Warren Cemetery.
