Jesse F. Farrow, Reidsville
REIDSVILLE, GA., Dec. 9--
Jesse F. Farrow, 57, died at the home of his son in Reidsville Wednesday 
morning after a long illness.  
He was born in Emanuel County, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. L.A. Farrow 
and had lived in this section all of his life.  He was a farmer and a member 
of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sarah B. Farrow, Reidsville; six sons, Jim, 
Esra, both of Reidsville, Frank of West Virginia, Connie of Lyons, B.H. and 
Charlie of Davenport, Fla.: one daughter, Mrs. Maggie Mason, Clinton, S.C.; 
one step son, Frank Mims, Reidsville; one step daughter, Mrs. R.R. McLendon, 
Davenport, Fla.; one brother, Litt Farrow, Midville; two sisters, Mrs. Ollie 
Kemp and Miss Lettie Farrow, Midville; 37 grandchildren and 18 great-grand-
children.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 3p.m. at Piney Grove Baptist Church by 
Elder H.R. Kennedy.  Burial will be int he church cemetery, McCall-Trappnell 
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  
Pallbearers will be grandsons.  Honorary pallbearers will be: Warnell Coward, 
Foy Sharpe, Hobb Smith, Emory RIggs, Fred Scott, R.D. West, Vander Cowart, 
Edgar Sharpe, Thomas Anderson, Clyde Kennedy Aden Anderson and Thomas Scott.

Additional Comments:
Jesse was actually closer to 75 years of age.  The numbers were transposed. He 
didn't move to Reidsville until around 1908.  Son is CONEY not Connie.  Step 
son is Frank MIMBS, not Mims.  Sister is LOTTIE Farrow, not Lettie Farrow.
