                    Mrs. Lizzie Foskey, Adrian
 SOPERTON, Ga., July 18----Mrs. Lizzie Foskey, 82, died at her home early this 
morning. A resident of Route 2, Adrian, she had lived her entire life in 
Emanuel County. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was a retired 
teacher, having taught in the Emanuel County schools. She was a daughter of 
the late John Drake and Martha Flanders Drake and the widow of Nathan Foskey.
 Surviving are three sons, Myrtice, C. L., and Norman Foskey, all of Adrian; 
one step-son, L. O. Foskey, Fort Lauderdale, Fla; two step-daughters, Mrs. 
Ernest Avery and Mrs. Clemmie Barwick, both of Adrian; 26 grandchildren and 4 
great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services will be conducted at 4pm Thursday at the Corinth Methodist 
Church, near Adrian, by the Rev. Tasker Johnson and the Rev. H. L. McCrary. 
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
 Pallbearers  will be Will Drake, Estus Drake, Brooks Drake, Linton Hutcheson, 
Clifton Smith, and E. L. Woods. Honorary pallbearers will include C. L. Gillis 
Sr., B. F. Wammock. J. W. Wammock, L. H. Durden, W. W. Smith, J. L. Lewis, Dr. 
R. J. Moye, W. O. Philllips, P. L. Youmans, Elton Woods, Rufus Youmans, Dr. A. 
E. Harrison, Dr. John A. Bell, Ted Spivey, Thurman Cook, R. H. Skinner Sr., M. 
T. Rinver Jr., T. E. Braswell, and O. L. Barwick.
 The body will be at the family residence until the hour of the funeral. 
Sammons Funeral Home, Soperton, is in charge of arrangements.

Lizzie was born 7-14-1874.
