WILLIAM ROAN KEMP, who with his late wife owned and operated Kemp's Coliseum, 1640 N. Orange Ave., for 35 years, died Tuesday. Born in Swainsboro, Ga., Kemp came to Orlando 48 years ago and was a member of the First Methodist Church. Mrs. Kemp died Oct. 6. FOR MANY years the Coliseum was a popular place for attractions including name bands, shows, dances and roller skating. Survivors: daughter, Mrs. J. K. Parker and Mrs. J. F. Applebee, both Orlando; step-son, P. H. Pirkle, Orlando; six grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
