The Augusta Chronicle - October 6, 1960
  David James Lamb, 65, of 1439 Broad St. died, Wednesday at 1:05 p.m. in a 
local infirmary.
  Mr. Lamb, a native of Emanuel County, had been a resident of Augusta for 25 
years. He was the son of the late M.H. and Nancy Edenfield Lamb and the widower 
of the late Mrs. Hannah Faircloth Lamb.
  Survivors include one son, Jefferson T. Lamb, Presently serving with the 
Merchant Marine; and three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Strange of Swainsboro, Ga., and 
Mrs. Nancy L. Harden and Mrs. Alice Banks of Augusta.
  Funeral services will be announced later.
