Cannady SWAINSBORO - Jack Walling Cannady, 64, died July 6 at home. He was a native of Candler County and employed for many years by the Georgia Department of Revenue's Alcohol and Tobacco Division as an undercover agent. He later retired from Colonial Oil Industries as area supervisor. He was an Emanuel County deputy sheriff and an Army veteran. He was a member of Swainsboro First United Methodist Church. SURVIVORS: his wife, Becky Lamb Cannady of Swainsboro; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Jack W. Cannady Jr. of Millen, Judson Cannady of Midway and Walter L. and Jennifer M. Cannady of Swainsboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Steve Williams of Swainsboro; a brother, Billy D. Cannady of Brooklet; and five grandchildren. VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home in Swainsboro. FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson Funeral Home, burial in Swainsboro City Cemetery.
