The Rev. Earl Warnock officiated with interment in the church cemetery. Mrs. Peacock died Monday in an Emanuel County hospital. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Homer Peacock of Swainsboro and Thomas Peacock of Moultrie; seven daughters, Mrs. Beulah Jackson and Mrs. Mildred McTyre of Tifton, Mrs. Lucile Hardy of Soperton, Mrs. Mary Crosby of Nunez, Mrs. Corine Williams of Ashburn, Mrs. Alene Waller of Sylvester, and Mrs. Franie Ross of Moultrie; a brother, Dave Prather of Cocoa, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Lois Waller of Atlanta; and her stepmother, Mrs. Susie Prather of Cocoa. Pallbearers were grandsons. Shadowlawn Mortuary of Swainsboro had charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Queenie was born 5 Aug 1895 to George William Prather and Allie Ruark Prather. Her husband was Freeman L. Peacock who is also buried in Sardis.
