The funeral was conducted at 2pm Tuesday from the chapel of Peebles-Curry Mortuary, Swainsboro. The Rev. David Phillips officiated. Burial was in Boiling Springs Baptist Church Cemetery near Soperton. Mrs. Phillips was a native of Emanuel County.She was a retired employee of Argo Mills in Swainsboro and was a member of Corinth United Methodist Church in Meeks. Survivors include a foster son, Jimmie Riner of Swainsboro; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Harry Martin, Ben Wammock, Jack Foskey, Phil Foskey, Hugh Foskey, Wayne Morris, and Jimmy Woods. Honorary pallbearers were Warren G. Douglas, O. G. Douglas, J. D. Douglas, Zackie Douglas, Carl Gillis Jr., Ernie Peebles, J. R. Woods, John H. Grant, Henry Flanders, Jimmy Lee Loyd, Hubert Rowland, and Dr. Dorsey Flanders jr. Peebles-Curry Mortuary of Swainsboro had charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Eunie Mae was born 7-10-1904 to James A. Woods and Euna Beasley Woods.
