                            Jay Raymond Powell
 OAK PARK----Jay Raymond Powell, 76, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, in Meadows 
Memorial Hospital, Vidalia.
 The funeral was conducted at 3pm Friday from the chapel of Hunnicutt Funeral 
Home. The Rev. Jimmy Smith officiated. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial 
Gardens at Dellwood.
 Mr. Powell was a native of Emanuel County. He was a member of Lower Corinth 
Free Will Baptist Church and was a retired security guard and farmer.
 Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Addie Lee F. Powell of Oak Park; a 
daughter, Mrs. Barbara Keel of Lyons, a step-daughter, Mrs. Joyce Hall of 
Lyons; a son, Don Powell of Oak Park; a sister, Mrs. L. F. Bradford of 
Swainsboro; a brother, Luther Powell of Oak Park; six grandchildren; and a 
great-grandchild.
 Hunnicutt Funeral Home of Swainsboro had charge of arrangements.

Jay was born 10-25-1911 to Joseph Jackson Powell and Ava Cynthia Youmans 
Powell. Georgia Death certificate #044396.
