                 Death Yesterday Of Rufus A. Thompson
           Funeral to Be Conducted at Sardis, Ga., This Morning
 Rufus Arthur Thompson, 24, died yesterday at a local infirmary after an 
extended illness. Funeral services will be held at Sardis, Ga. Baptist Church 
this morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. A. F. Simms will officiate.
 Mr. Thompson is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lucay Lawson Thompson; two sons, 
Ray and Edwin Thompson; four brothers, Lundy,  Robbie, Eddie, and Fred 
Thompson; two sisters, Miss Lurly Thompson ans Miss Euna Pearl Thompson.
 

Additional Comments:
Rufus was born 3 Jan 1906 to Denson Neal Thompson and Mattie Riner. Georgia 
death certificate #16888.
