She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Vienna Tyson Riner of Johnson County. Survivors are her husband, Zack Tyson of Kite; three daughters, Mrs. W. T. Peacock of Macon, Mrs. Anderson Radford of Valona, and Mrs. Henry J. Wheeler of East Dublin; four sons, David Z. Tyson Jr. of Dublin, J. E. and W. C. Tyson of Adrian, and Jerry Tyson of Minneapolis; 20 grandchildren, and 14 great- grandchildren. Shadowlawn Mortuary of Swainsboro is in charge. Funeral Notice The Savannah Morning News 27 Jul 1962 Page 2A TYSON--Mrs. Viola Riner SWAINSBORO---Funeral services for Mrs. Tyson will be held Friday at the Sardis Baptist Church at 3pm with Elder Gus Walton and Elder R. M. Riner officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lamar Shepard, Ralph Kersey, Flip Jackson, M. T. Riner, Harold Johnson, and Arnold Floyd. The body will be at the Shadowlawn Mortuary until 1:30pm when it will be carried to the church. Additional Comments: Viola was born 25 May 1891 to Joseph Abner Riner and Elizabeth Vianna Tyson Riner. her husband was David Zachariah "Zack" Tyson Sr. who is also buried at Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
