The funeral will be at 2pm Saturday at Shadowlawn Mortuary, Swainsboro, with the Revs. Donnie Bush and Wayne Page officiating. Burial will be in Youngblood Cemetery, near Dellwoood. Mrs. Wilcher was a native of Emanuel County. She was a member of Blundale Baptist Church. Survivors include six daughters, Susie Faircloth, Augusta, Grace Daniel and Jo Ann Barwick, Bartow, Helen Lovett, Perry, Betty Matthews, Wadley, and Ramona Bunch, Jesup; a son, William Wilcher, Lyons; and four sisters, Annie Mae Foskey, Adrian and Myrtle Love, Adele Strickland, and Mary Lee Page, Swainsboro. Pallbearers will be Nicky Coleman, Charles Gordy, Russell Jones, Allen Jones, Jimmy Lovett, and Johnny Peebles. Friends may call at the funeral home. Additional Comments: Dessie was born 8-27-1913 to Jim Bell "Coot" Bush and Della E. Douglas Bush. Her husband was William "Bill" B. Wilcher. Georgia death certificate #002675.
