First I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like manner suitable to my circumstances in life my Soul I trust shall return to rest with God who gave it as I hope for salvation through the merits and atonement of the blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Second, I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my Executors herein after named and appointed. Third, I give bequeath and devise to my beloved wife Susannah the place where I now live containing three hundred and thirty one acres more or less the same lying and being in (the) 45th Dist. G.M. of said County also six hundred acres adjoining the same with all the rights members and appurtenances to said land in anywise belonging during her natural life I also give and bequeath to my beloved wife in the same manner all my stock of all kinds, farming utensils used on said farm and said tracts of land and all my household and kitchen furniture without limitation or use-----. Fourth, I give and bequeath (to) my daughters Jamima & Sarah Bland (after the death of my beloved wife) the place where I now reside containing three hundred and thirty one acres more or less situate lying and being in the 45th District G.M. of said County. This bequeath is to make them up even with the ballance of my children have had of my Estate. Fifth, (I) Give and bequeath (to) my daughters Safornia Clark wife of Alexander Clark and Eda Gay wife of Batt Gay (if my wife can convenently pay it before her death) one hundred and fifty dollars each but in the event she cannot pay it before her death then it is my wish and desire that they have that sum each out of my Estate after the death of my wife this bequest is to make them up even with the ballance of my children. Sixth, I give and bequeath to my sons James and David the sum of fifty dollars each on the same conditions and for the same purposes as mentioned in item five for my daughters Safornia Clark and Edna Gay. Seventh the residue of my property both real and personal wherever and whatever it may be including that (grant?) to my beloved wife Susannah or what portion that may remain after her death I want to be equally divided between my children. And I hereby appoint my sons William & Timothy Bland Executors to this my last will and testament this July 12th 1872.
