Mr. Dillingham was a lifelong resident of Hemp and was a retired farmer. He was the son of the late Bill Dillingham and Jane Johnson Dillingham and was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church of Hemp. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura Odom Dillingham; one daughter, Mrs. Allie Thomas of Hemp, two sons, Fain J. Dillingham of Hemp and Paul Dillingham of Dalton, Georgia; one sister, Mrs. Ila Fields of Gainesville, Ga.; grandchildren, Peggy and Junior Dillingham of Hemp, Joseph Thomas of Allen Park, Mich., Flora Bell Fink, Whittier, Calif. and Frankie Satterfield of Blairsville, Ga., one great-grandchildren, Cynthia Joyce Dillingham of Hemp, and eight step great-grandchildren. Interment was in the Liberty Hill United Methodist Church cemetery.
