He died before medical aid could be summoned. He was 64. Mr. Stuart was a retired police chief of Blue Ridge. He was a member of the Hemp Methodist Church and a member of Mineral Bluff Lodge #483, Free and Accepted Masons. He was a native of Fannin County. Surving are his wife, Mary Etta Sneed Stuart of the home; two daughers, Mrs. Virginia Lynch, Gainesville, Ga., and Mrs. Edna Earl Stuart, Akron, Ohio; one son, James Stuart, Blue Ridge; one sister, Mrs. Stella Garrison, Morganton; one brother, Jack Stuart, McCaysville; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Interment was in Copper Ridge Memory Gardens.
