The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net ********************************************************************** State of Georgia,..........Fayette..............................County This Indenture, Made this 4th day of May, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Twenty Seven, between W T McLean of the State of Georgia, of the County of Fulton, of the first part, and Miss Elizabeth McLean of the State of Georgia, of the County of Fayette, of the second part, Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars, in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold, and conveyed, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the Fourth District of originally Henry, now Fayette County, described as follows 13 1/2 acres in south east corner of lot of land No. 219 and 16 1/2 acres in the north east corner of land No. 198, making in the aggregate Thirty acres, bounded as follows, north by Stephens, east by Odd McLean and E C Stephens estate, south by J F McLean estate, and west by public road, and Mrs. Emma Thompson. This being the same tract of land conveyed to grantor by William F McLean as appears of record in Deed Book L page 345 in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of said county. To Have and to Hold the said bargained premises, together with all and singular the rights, members, and appurtenances thereof, to the same being, belonging, or in anywise appertaining, to the only proper use, benefit, and behoof of her the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, forever, in fee simple. And the said party of the first part, for his heirs, executors, and administrators, will warrant and forever defend the right and title of the above described property unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, against the claims of all persons whomsoever.
